Scale every relationship

When you make a new friend, I advise that you ‘weigh’ the relationship on the basis of what he/she says and does. A leopard can hardly change its skin, and the way a man talks and acts is reflective of his innermost convictions and thoughts. It was the Master who said, ‘Out of the fullness of the heart, the mouth speaketh’. If the friend does not ‘pass’ your test on these bases, move on!

There are over 6 billion people on earth. You will find your type, as water always finds its level. Mix only with the serious-minded who talk wholesomeness, wealth and health, not with frivolous or complaining minds that are always good at talking down the rich, and are full of gloom and/or complaints. This is golden advice, as you will be about an average of the five closest people to you, by all standards. Life is too short to be wasted and too long to be endured!

If on the other hand, you find people who speak faith, love, wealth, health, wisdom, encouragement and inspiration into your life, cherish such relationships, and do all within your power to be in their company, even if it’s only through their books, on the telephone, or even on the Net!

What do you say?

What you hear repeatedly tends to become part of your ‘belief system’. Therefore, it is imperative that you watch what others say to you. However, equally as important as that is what you also say to yourself, especially about yourself. Confess that which is in tune with the divine plan for you. That divine plan for you is health, prosperity and long life. Did not David say about himself, ‘The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want’? And did the Lord not say of Himself, ‘All power in heaven and on earth has been given unto me?’

You share a part of Divinity, therefore ensure that you hear, and equally say just the best about yourself and yours!

Until next Friday, please remain INSPIRED in His presence!
