Therefore, I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
_Mark 11:24_
One time, a man asked T. L. Osborn why it was that people fell under the power in his (brother Osborn’s) crusades and got up healed. The man wanted to know because people fell down in his own crusades without getting any healing. Brother Osborn’s reply was that it was what the minister wanted. He was right because the minister just prayed that people would fall down under the anointing. He never asked The Lord to heal them.
Do your desires really agree with your prayers? What you set your heart on matters a lot. This explains why some who preach to people do not win souls. They never strongly yearn for the salvation of the people they witness to.
Set your heart on the right things when you pray. Your prayer time should be work time – investment time. God has promised to give you what you ask for. He means what He says. If all a man wants is to be seen as a prayer giant and not to be heard by God, he will get exactly what he wants.
You are special to God. His ears are open to your prayers. Pray God’s promises. Pray intelligently. Be detailed. In prayer, God does more than we ASK or THINK. Our asking and thinking dovetail to deliver the answers to our prayers. We are blessed because we have the mind of Christ and the right to ask, seek and knock. The Apostles were not surprised when miracles happened because they earnestly desired results in prayer. May you receive outstanding testimonies as you pray.
