Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

  • Jeremiah 32: 27 NKJV

There is absolutely nothing that is too hard for God to do. There are no emergencies with Him. Our God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. This is why you must trust Him. Even when you see in the natural that it looks like it is too late for something to happen, God can turn things around. He is God in all the tenses: past or present. He can bring the future forward and turn it to now.

Jesus reigns in all the circumstances in the lives of His people. Remember how He walked on troubled water and helped Peter to do the same. Trust Him with your life. He is all in all.

In 1950, during the Korean conflict, the Chinese got involved in the war. Because they moved south from North Korea, very many people began to relocate quickly. They were running from the Communist armies. A sister was one of them. Her name was Yu Eul Hee. She was a faithful believer who manifested the love of Christ to many, especially orphans and refugee children. She ran off from danger with her children among whom were toddlers. They travelled by foot during the day and rested anywhere they could when it got dark. One night, while they lay on the floor in a house sleeping, The Lord told sister Yu to take all the children out immediately. It was around 2.00am, but she did. They found a huge tree and sheltered under it. Not too long after, a bomb fell on the house and destroyed it.

Don’t worry. You cannot be stranded obeying God. He is faithful. Even when it looks like you have come face to face with a wall, relax in faith. As in the case of Joshua and the children of Israel, your acts of obedience will bring all obstacles down. Fear not. In total obedience to God lies the safety of the believer. May you always hear and obey The Lord no matter how strange His instructions appear.

 *PRAYER GUIDE*

1. Give thanks to God for the gift of life and for His mercy.
