The projector was already in disrepair, but he could find no alternative as he headed to the venue. The potential client doubted the capacity of the equipment to function, but he had to deal with a difficult situation. His first attempt failed, but the projector came alive on the second try, enabling the presentation which was expected to make a difference to his business fortunes.
