Many telecom consumers in Nigeria have had complaints about how fast their data are depleting.
In this line, the country’s telecoms regulatory body, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), says the consumers should not lose sleep with data depletion, as it has come out on three easy ways to reduce data depletion for telecom subscribers to get value for their money in a post on its Official Facebook page on Tuesday.

The steps, according to the regulator are:
- Turn off your “Background App Refresh”
- Install and activate only the Apps you need
- Limit your data usage in Phone Settings
