Sadiq had been linked with a move for Anthony Modeste, ending speculations of potential move for the Nigeria.

In the first edition of CarBall With Babajide Guerrero, the presenter went on a ride with foremost Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY. The longtime Arsenal fan revealed why he chose to support the Gunners.

“Umar Sadiq has not traveled to England to avoid any type of injury that could stop the transfer that is close at the moment. It will be sold for just under 30 million euros. We have more than 12-13 players who have received offers, they are players who have a name in the market and are expected to have a great future,”  Assy said.

Sadiq has scored 41 goals and nicked 19 assists in 81 games for Almeria and helped them to promotion last season.

The former AS Roma and Partizan Belgrade attacker has said in the past that he wanted a challenge at the top level and a move to a major European league will be an upgrade on his career.
