On Wednesday, the country’s Chancellor of Exchequer, Rishi Sunak disclosed Britain’s new strategy , the country has launched a new visa system to attract skilled Migrants.
He made mention that the visa measures would woo ‘international talent’ to the UK in areas such as science and technology to help make the country a global hub for innovation.
Britain has launched a new visa system that makes it easier for science, research and technology workers overseas to relocate to Britain.
Sunak also described the initiative as part of an ongoing effort to make Britain the best place in the world for high-growth and to make the four nations internationally competitive.
He said “I am announcing ambitious visa reform targetting highly skilled migrants. A new unsponsored points-based visa to get the best and most promising international talent in science, research and tech. And new improved visa processes for scale-ups and entrepreneurs, and radically simplified bureaucracy for high-skilled visa applications.”
