The remains of the late lawmaker representing Kosofe constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Braimoh was committed to mother earth at Ikoyi cemetery on Friday afternoon.
Braimoh who passed on in the night of Thursday/ Friday at the infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba where he had spent some days, according to sources at the Assembly, was buried at the Ikoyi cemetery according to Muslim rites.
Until his death Braimoh was the chairman of the House committee on information, strategy and security, a position he was holding for the second time back to back.
Another member, Hon. Sanni Ganeey Okanlawon, who represents Kosofe Constituency 1, had confirmed the death of the representative of Kosofe Constituency 11.
Okanlawon had written on Facebook: “ONE DEATH TOO MANY, TUNDE BURAIMOH, Sun re o.”
Braimaoh, a former Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area of the state, was also the Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security.
