JAMB registers 1.6m candidates for 2023 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said it had registered 1.6 million candidates for its 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Is-haq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, said this in Abuja on Monday while monitoring the registration of applicants at the Global Distance Learning, Abuja.

Oloyede was joined in the monitoring exercise by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, David Adajo.

The sale of 2023 UTME form opened on Jan. 14 and was to close on Tuesday, Feb.14, before the one-week extension.
