COVID-19: We’ll Allow Only Fully Vaccinated Travellers From Nov 8 – US

The United States on Friday released new COVID-19 guide­lines stating that only fully vac­cinated persons will be allowed into the US from November 8, 2021.

The new guidelines insists that travellers into the coun­try must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before boarding airplanes.

The new COVID-19 travel guidelines which also point­ed out that “only limited exceptions will be made to the rule, replaces the earlier announced country-country restrictions.”

In a statement, US Nigeria Mission disclosed that the country’s Centre for Disease Control (CDC) authorised only FDA approved and au­thorised vaccines; and vac­cines listed under Emergen­cy Use Listing (EUL) by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Describing the new guidelines as “a consistent approach,” the statement explained that by the new guidelines, travellers into the country by air will show evi­dence of negative COVID-19 test taken three days before their trips.
