Usman Alkali Baba, Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, has announced that tinted vehicle windscreens will be banned in the country immediately.
Baba made the announcement during a meeting with senior police personnel from throughout the country, including commissioners and Deputy Inspector Generals.

Roadblocks are still illegal in the country, according to the police head.
He told commanding officers to enforce the restriction and employ road patrolling as an alternative to roadblocking.
