Two persons are currently trapped under the rubbles of a two storey building shopping mall in Kubwa a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja which collapsed in the night.
The incident which happened around 11:25pm on Thursday was said to have been caused by alterations of the building plan.
It was gathered that the owner of the building converted the second floor to residential apartment of three and two bedroom flats respectively while the ground floor was used for shops.
Four person have been rescued alive from the rubbles of the collapsed building while two person were still trapped.
Though as at time of filing this report rescue operation is on going at the scene of the incident which include a combine team from Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), FCT Fire Service, Nigerian Police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and others.
